The amount of tasks needed to reach the next stage are the same as the corresponding stages in a regular pet. When a player ages up a regular Neon pet, each stage has a different name. Mega Neon pets glow in the same areas as the Neon version, but they cycle through multiple colours. Players can combine four Luminous Neon pets into a Mega Neon pet. Although a member of Adopt Me!'s staff was seen with a Neon Pet Rock, it could not have been obtained. They were limited and were removed from players' inventories after a certain amount of time. The color of the Neon spots is unique to that species of pet. The new pet will glow in certain spots of its body. This will cause them to coalesce and become one pet. Inside the Neon Cave, players can fuse the spirits of their pets by placing four Full Grown pets of the same species onto the four glowing circles around the edge of the platform.
